Fics like The Drunk Girl and Elton John

Lauren, a Cleveland native, attends a lavish party celebrating the U.S. rollout of Elton John Zero, a 0% alcohol sparkling Blanc de Blancs. Near the end of the night, Elton John makes a surprise appearance. After a few too many drinks, Lauren pushes through the crowd to meet the musician she's admired for years. Security quickly ushers her away, but not before Elton notes her struggles and intoxication; he later circles back and checks in to make sure she's okay. What starts as a brief celebrity encounter turns into an unexpected connection, as the two spend the rest of the evening talking, touching, and tasting more than just a promotional bottle of champagne.
