Fics like Into the Closet:

On the evening of July 9th, the grand halls of Buckingham Palace shimmered with elegance as dignitaries gathered for a state banquet in honor of French President Emmanuel Marceau. Hosted by Their Majesties the King and Queen, the event celebrated renewed unity between Britain and France Among the glittering guests was the legendary performer Elton John, accompanied by his husband, the ever-stylish and sharp-witted David Furnish. Elton arrived in a perfectly tailored black suit, crisp white shirt, dark sunglasses, and a chest adorned with gleaming medals. He looked every bit the icon—ageless, magnetic, and effortlessly cool. Though honored to attend, Elton’s restless spirit soon stirred. After a few hours of polite conversation and ceremonial toasts, he slipped away from the crowd, wandering the palace corridors in search of quiet—or perhaps a little mischief —and found himself accidentally locked in a supply closet. Lauren, a palace technician, stumbled in and got locked in with him. With no phones or help nearby, the two quickly became acquainted in the dim, mop-scented room, forming an unexpected and oddly romantic connection during a night gone sideways.
