Fics like last daughter

It’s a strange story, this one. It starts with two little girls and their family. It ends with a grown-up girl with another child, all too many galaxies away, at a family's grave. In between, what you might have come searching for: the fall of a people, the death of a planet, the murder of a family and a quest for revenge. Truth, justice, redemption, whatever. It begins like this: There is a girl named for the sun’s love, and a girl with only one arm. It ends like this: It’s too big, we’re too small. And if you’re a stickler for detail: the barking of a dog. Kara is born on Krypton and has a sister on Krypton. Krypton chooses differently in the face of doom. It changes nothing and everything.
