Fics like Going Underground

At first, Lois didn’t think much about Clark Kent. He was introduced briefly by Perry on his first day, but the new junior reporter’s mumbled, “Howdy,” did little to impress her. But then Clark Kent got the first ever exclusive interview with Superman, and suddenly he and his ill-fitting suits were on Lois Lane’s radar. How the hell Kansas landed the exclusive was a mystery to everyone at the Planet, and Lois was determined to figure out why the Man of Steel had agreed to talk to Kent over her. Prequel to Superman (2025) that started as meet-cute and ended as an explanation for “there is no kryptonite left on earth that we know of.” Title from "Going Underground" by the Jam. Enjoy!
