Fics like A Kinder Tomorrow

“So she’s your older cousin.” “Yup.” “Who is also half your age.” “Yes.” “Because of some Ghost Zone thing in space?” “Phantom Zone. It essentially froze her in time and that’s why she hasn’t aged a day since.” “And she was sent after you twenty five years ago so she could raise you but clearly that plan failed.” “Clearly.” “So now you’re going to what? Pass her off as the daughter you had as a teenager? Become a dad to a thirteen year old traumatized little girl who watched her whole world die and got turned into a refugee on an alien planet she knows nothing about?” “That’s the current plan we’re working with.” “Clark, that’s a horrible plan.” — Or the version of events where Clark isn’t an asshole who dumps his traumatized older-turned-baby cousin on some strangers to raise but instead steps up and raises her himself, even if he knows nothing about alien teenage girls.
