Fics like Let the Months and Years Come

Kara Zor-El (or Linda Lee/Danvers/Wilkson/Whatever (or Supergirl!!!)) is having a rough go of it in 1961. Cousin Superman is on her back about everything, she’s feeling the pressure of fitting in, and everyone she ever knew and loved is dead. But things are on the up, finally! Then she gets portal-ed to another dimension. One decades in the future where people seem weirdly caught up about “how she is”. ————— Or: I take silver-aged Supergirl and plop her in a world where everyone isn’t a massive asshole.
