Fics like Why I do what I do

A glimpse into the beginning of Clark Kent's career, both as a journalist and his early days as Superman. Balancing both identities comes with a host of different challenges. How can he get close to Lois Lane when she keeps everyone at arm's length? How can he gain the people's trust in a world that no longer believes in doing good for the sake of it? What happens when he can't save everyone?
