Fics like OS Chapters Seventeen and Eighteen - Xaden's POV

Onyx Storm's seventeenth chapter through Xaden Riorson's eyes/mind, whatever you may. Professor Xaden Riorson is stressed, depressed, hanging onto his humanity with thoughts and prayers alone, and pathetically in love with Violet Sorrengail. Not the best combination of elements to encounter her ex boyfriend - mister hot basketcase heir of Navarre - Halden Tauri. The Empyrean series, with all its characters, plotlines and world-building elements, belongs to Rebecca Yarros alone. This is just my version of what could have taken place in Xaden's head during the encounter and a bit before. No AI used, so all errors are mine alone and a hundred percent human.
