Fics like Our Dirty Secret

❝"We were never friends. Two leaders can't be together." That is how Alexandra Trusova responded when asked about Anna Shcherbakova. And, well... that explains a lot. The two have never hidden their rivalry. Alexandra has stated more than once that they are competitors—rivals on the ice. And it shows. Every practice session, every competition, and every score seems to turn into a silent battle between them. Anna Shcherbakova and Alexandra Trusova grew up together in figure skating but took completely different paths to reach the top. Today, they are viewed as two of the best skaters of their generation—and as rivals who seem unable to coexist without turning everything into a competition.❞
