Fics like Piano concerto no.2 in F major: "For you"

"In June, the programme ends." Anna looked at the departure board, which required no looking at. Her ears were going warm, and she was twenty-two years old and an Olympic champion and could not, apparently, survive one sentence. "And I thought. After. If you wanted. We could, the apartment in Moscow, or here, or anywhere, I don't care where, I just." She surrendered, quietly, to the smallest version: "Wait for me to finish. And then come live with me. Properly. For good." For a moment Sasha said nothing at all, and Anna made herself lift her eyes from the board, braced for teasing. What happened instead was flight. The backpack hit the floor, and two hands closed on Anna's waist, and the airport tilted as Sasha lifted her clean off the ground and spun her, once, in front of security and the departure board and a hundred strangers with their sensible luggage, laughing up at her with her whole face, holding her in the air the way she held nothing else in the world. "Then I'll be waiting for that day,"
