Fics like Call This My Reverse Uno Card, Eddie.

“This is Mr. Evan Buckley’s will. He’s left you sole custody of Theo if anything were to happen to him.” Mabel says, handing over the papers. Eddie's jaw dropped. “Theo goes to me, not his sister Maddie?” Mabel points at the paper where Eddie should read. I hereby appoint Edmundo Diaz as the Legal Guardian of my son Theo Riley-Buckley. Note: Call this my reverse uno card, Eddie. There is nobody else in this world I trust more with my son than you, Eddie. I know you will take care of him like he is your own, and I know Chris will help look out for him in my absence. I know you could refuse, but I know you’d never let him out of your sight. I love you so much, Eddie. I’m sorry I left you to take care of the kids alone. Please forgive me. -Buck Eddie sits, tears in his eyes, reading the paper. “ He’s not dead; he’s not been missing for more than 24 hours,” Eddie says, looking at Mabel. aka: Buck gets kidnapped, and Eddie finds out Buck reversed the UNO card; his will leaves Theo to him.
