"Look, they haven't found my body yet!" Finney’s voice cracked, growing exasperated as the room's collective gaze pressed into him. "I just... I know there was blood on the floor in the janitor's closet, or the boiler room, or whatever. And now I'm standing here with you guys. But I don't remember the end." "...Huh," Vance hummed, tilting his head. "'Huh'? What's 'huh'?" Finney snapped, his defensive walls going up fast. "Is thatβ€”is that weird or something? Not knowing?!" "Well... it's a first," a shorter, quiet boy with soft brown eyes and a pale face muttered from the seat beside the teacher. He clutched an inhaler tightly in his lap, his knuckles practically white. "So what do you remember then, cherry pop?" Bruce sighed, finally looking up to lock eyes with Finney. "You just popped into death out of nowhere?" "Okay, Bruce! That is enough," the teacher interjected firmly, placing a calm, authoritative hand over his knee. "Finney clearly doesn't want to dig into that right now, and pushing him won't help. How about we all introduce ourselves properly instead?" or ; finney is somehow trapped in his high school with other dead kids.
