Fics like Smoke Signals in a Haunted House

Finney Blake has spent years pretending the unusual doesn’t exist. Unlike his sister, he doesn’t chase ghosts, doesn’t listen to voices, doesn’t want to believe in anything that can’t be explained. But grief doesn’t care about logic. When Gwen starts dating Ernesto Arellano — Robin’s younger brother — Finney finds himself trapped in a house full of memories, incense, family photos, and the unbearable possibility that Robin might not be as gone as he thought. Some ghosts don’t want to haunt you. Some just want to talk. And Finney isn’t sure which would hurt more.
