Fics like Things That Aren’t Supposed to Matter

Akechi Goro transfers to a nowhere town and does what he always does- keeps his head down, keeps people at arm’s length, and waits it out. Akira Kurusu already lives there. He’s easygoing, forgettable, good at being background noise - and apparently incapable of leaving him alone. An AU where Akechi gets sent to a foster home in Akira’s hometown, and everything still goes to shit.
