Fics like escalation

“Other times,” Hans says, speaking around it, around lips touching and hands brushing and other places, other parts, “I let us. You follow my lead.” “Yes,” Henry says. “I did. I do. And that makes it… alright.” Around again, around the line. Words spilling past his lips almost as though he was waiting for permission. “Because if you… if you tell me to, then I could give it to you. But if you don’t, then…” he trails again, glancing down as Hans touches his ankle, a brush of his fingers, barely a touch at all. In different rooms, behind closed doors, under flickering candlelight, on either side of the line between them that they have the power to let each other cross, Henry and Hans stay firmly in their places.
