Fics like Twice (but it wasn't my fault)

Hans has had enough. The people don’t respect him, his uncle thinks he is unfit for anything, and nothing he ever does is enough. So he ventures out on a whim, gets his helmet visor hopelessly stuck shut, saves a woman’s life, and hears the most magical words of his life: thank you. He quickly decides to do it again. Anonymously. Throw in a pesky local blacksmith, one fateful visit to the bathhouse, and a mysterious knight with the same idea (whom he keeps running into)—and Hans’ life becomes something he could never have expected. Or: a little story about how two idiots manage to find each other twice and accidentally create a local legend.
