Fics like Phoenix

In the end, the great Red Death was not defeated by a titan’s fire or ice. She was not defeated by great numbers, by the wrath of many. She was defeated only by a conversation with a juvenile dragon. As she led Two-of-One’s subjects towards their new home, following them herself, Stjornandi couldn’t find it in herself to be upset by that fact. Or, the Red Death is not an evil dragon. She’s just tired. (Rewrite in progress!)
