Fics like To Lay Beside You

The first time Shadow meets Sonic after fighting the Metarex, Sonic is asleep. Shadow observes before running off. The second time Shadow catches Sonic sleeping, the azure hedgehog wakes up to have a conversation with Shadow. The third time, Shadow decides to sit with the sleeping hedgehog. The fourth time, he joins Sonic. And by the fifth time, this has become a regular occurrence for them to take naps while cuddled up to each other. - Post Sonic X season 3 Trigger Warnings: Grief, no one says it outright but Sonic has depression (that's why he's sleeping all the damn time)
