Fics like Gentle Hands

When Sonic messages, it's usually one of two things. Either he's bored and deciding to make it Shadow's problem, or he's updating the other on an Eggman attack, as if Shadow doesn't already know the instant the Doctor decides to make an appearance. So when his phone starts incessantly beeping with message notifications, Shadow lets out a long-suffering groan, digging it out of his quills and bookmarking the page of the novel he had been so happily reading. --------------------------------------- or When Tails falls ill, Shadow must reacquaint himself with being a caretaker. While taking care of the sick fox, he ends up trying to work through his confusing emotions regarding his place in their group and his relationship with Sonic.
