After being on Starfall Islands, Sonic's friends, true to their word, go off and explore the world on their own, which leaves Sonic alone in Tail's workshop to keep an eye on the Master Emerald and himself. Being left alone after the pain of Cyberspace is definitely a good idea. Time has never ticked by slower. But, with the sudden run into Shadow under the stars, his life starts to pick up once more. But the sudden strange attitude Sonic has does not go unnoticed by the other hedgehog. With a newfound motivation, and the tired old threat of a new plan from Dr. Eggman once again, Sonic is ready to battle him once again, even if he doesn't have his friends right near him at the moment. Well, except for the three strange friends standing around him as they stare at the documents regarding Eggman's new plans. IMPORTANT: This fanfic is currently being edited and revised!
