Fics like A guide to being the Firefighter's son

“Evan, what are you doing out of bed? You shouldn’t be up here right now” “I’ll come down if you do, but what you're doing is wrong. You have a secret place just above our place and what you do in there is beyond me, but from what I can tell it seems you drink in there right?” Buck pauses for a second looking at his Dad incredulously but continues before his Dad can cut him off. “Then your doing drugs that you shouldn’t even be using anymore and drugs and alcohol don’t mix Dad, we learned that from one of your ‘safety speeches’ but I guess bullshit to those right?” “Don’t you cuss at me Evan, I am your father” “You're not much of one right now considering I’m the one that’s going to drag you off of this roof and back home. You were a good Dad, a great Dad even before you hurt yourself at work and now look at you” Buck steps closer to his Dad who doesn’t move away from the edge. “Dad come on, let’s go back inside” Buck gets closer but his Dad is still staring over the edge. “Dad come-” Or... What if Buck is Marcy and Bobby's son from the beginning and Buck was there when the fire started...
