“Frye,” they whisper so soft like rain, “Frye, look at me.” The oppressive fingers and instruments dabbing at Frye’s face are gone, and now there’s just hands, familiar and slender and strong, cupping her cheeks and thumbing at her jaw. And there’s Shiver in front of her, counting each breath out, urging Frye to imitate. She breathes. And breathes. And breathes. “Are you okay?” they worry. “I need to get out of here,” she says. (or, the one where Shiver comforts Frye during a stress-induced breakdown and they both come away a little closer than before.)
