Fics like maybe we'll meet again

Two years after the fall of the Republic, Obi-Wan lives on Tatooine, lonely and mourning his brother, his family and his lover. Without any knowledge of the chip, Obi-Wan is unable to come to terms with his lover shooting him off a cliffside, no matter how much he meditates. Change comes in the form of a relative of a long-lost love, who reintroduces him to people he'd thought dead and who might even be able to help Obi-Wan with liberating a certain commander, setting the two of them up for a life on Tatooine, spent protecting a boy with stars in his eyes, until one day, disaster strikes. Title derived from the Mando'a version of Goodbye: 'Ret'urcye mhi', literally translated as 'Maybe we'll meet again'
