Fics like Of Dragons and Fairies

When a startling discovery pertaining to the war drains the dreaded Black Dragon of the Apocalypse of his anger, Acnologia is left wandering through the centuries without clear purpose. His misanthropic days end, however, when a young dragon slayer winds up in his care. Stumbling into the plot of time-misplaced children, Acnologia is determined to find the rest of the dragon slayer children to ensure some measure of their safety. He never imagined he would get so attached along the way, and he never even dreamed of gaining a family. Acnologia may not know what he's doing, but he's sure of one thing: he'll do anything in his power to protect those five kids—even if that means protecting them from himself. The 'Papalogia AU' that no one asked for.
