There's a sharp bark of laughter behind him that at first startles Steve, golden wings snapping straight as his shoulders tense before the tips flutter in quick recognition, his pointed ears doing much the same. He'd know that laugh anywhere—it was deeper then when they were sproutlings but Goddess did he miss hearing it. Warmth pools in his stomach as long lanky legs stretch out next to him with an exhausted sigh of their own, the sounds of snow crunching under a heavy weight, similar wood boards creaking. Small snowflakes twist down until they disappear into the water that was only half frozen over, black leather soles skimming the surface. "You really did sound just like Hopper. You are strictly forbidden from crossing over. Say your goodbyes girls." Eddie Munson drops the deep, gravely voice meant to mimic Jim Hopper, grin still wide and wild as he tips his head towards his old friend that continues gazing out ahead of them, onyx curls framing his angular cheeks and chin. To Steve he'd always looked more like a Nymph than a Fairy—a running joke between them when they’d met that Munson had never been born from a laugh at all.
