Fics like tongues & teeth

Steve looks at this new Eddie — the Eddie that crawled back from the Upside Down a week after he died there, scared and a little angry and with a face full of animal blood — and he gets this feeling in his gut, not unlike the feeling he gets when a demogorgon has him in its sights. Steve likes that feeling. Chases it. He begins to seek out the feeling that comes from Eddie staring at him a little too intently, or when Eddie drags his tongue, long and different, across teeth that are equally long and different. Steve can feel his heart begin to race every time it happens, and he knows Eddie can hear his heart begin to race. Steve can tell by the way Eddie shifts in his seat and drops his gaze to the line of Steve’s throat. Steve thinks he gets high off of that thrill.
