Fics like you shook me all night long

There’s a beat of silence before Eddie asks, “About what?” “Huh?” “Christ, Harrington. What were you thinking about?” “Oh. Um—” About how I haven’t once stopped thinking about how it felt to wear your jacket. About how I still think about the way you looked at me while I was wearing it. About how I like guys and girls, but mostly about how I like you. About how I’m glad we met this spring, despite the horrible circumstances, because I don’t know if we would’ve started to hang out if those events never happened and I get a little sick thinking about it. About how badly I want to kiss you right now, touch you, date you. “It’s not important,” is what he settles on, ignoring the roar of his heartbeat in his ears and warmth of his cheeks.
