Fics like The Nine-Tailed Fox: World In Ruins

After an accident with his prototype Shatter Drive, Tails Nine finds himself marooned in an alternate universe where the local variant of himself, known as Miles the Mad Fox, after a vicious campaign, leaving the world in ruins and teetering on the bring of total collapse. When news of Nine's existence starts spreading like wildfire, it isn't long before every eye in Mobius is on the fox boy, watching him like a hawk for any signs of suspicious activity, even as Nine does everything he can to remain out of the public eye and ensure he's left in peace. Easier said than done, as Nine has to constantly deal with advances from the Freedom Fighters, now known as the Restoration, while struggling to wrap his mind around and comprehend the strange feelings that he's never felt before that he's developed for the rather beautiful Cream the Rabbit. Unbeknownst to Nine and the Restoration, villains both new and old are poised to pounce on an unsuspecting world... and Nine might just be the key to stopping them.
