Fics like Sonic X - Emerald of Hearts

A desperate battle against Dr. Eggman pushed Mobius to the brink. With the seven Chaos Emeralds caught in the conflict and their incredible power at risk of falling into Eggman’s hands, there was only one option left: use Chaos Control to send the Emeralds somewhere far away—somewhere they could never be found. The plan worked. Mostly. The Emeralds vanished from Mobius, scattered beyond Eggman’s reach. But Chaos Control was unpredictable, and no one realized that two of the seven Emeralds had traveled much farther than intended. Across worlds. To a quiet planet called Earth. One Emerald glowed green. The other burned red. And somewhere nearby, two ordinary twelve-year-old boys named Max and David were about to stumble upon something that was never supposed to reach their world. Neither of them knew what the strange gemstones were. Neither knew where they had come from. And neither could have imagined that finding them would soon pull them into a world—and a war—they didn't even know existed.
