Fics like the buds of change; by roots of oak a cosmo the flowers come.

"In the stories passed down from legend, a plant was born, found Mobius, found friends, and even found love. But legends can be retold. And Cosmo the Seedrian was told she cannot bring him back. Her friends mourned, the villains mourned, but in the end, he did not grow. His smile no longer gave her water." The galaxy was saved, and the history books were written by the victors. But no one asked what happens to the one left behind in the quiet expanse of the Blue Typhoon. Trapped with a mechanical legacy she doesn't understand and a rotting reality she refuses to accept, Cosmo decides she will rewrite the rules of nature herself. But she is not the only gardener who wants change. Dr. Eggman has abandoned creations that never succeeded, gods that never obeyed, parallel dimensions that never stayed, legends that never came and the symbols that never yielded. From the roots of too many failures, a grand design cultivates: The Symbolists. Can Cosmo’s growing family and sanity stay together when this time, Eggman isn’t going to build a team... he’ll grow a garden of them. If heroes can write victories and plants can grow from the ashes of failure… what does Eggman create in its place?
