Fics like A Day Without Night

Michael and Sam Emerson are condemned to be separated forever unless they can work together to break the curse they're under. Communication has never been a strength of the Emerson brothers, especially now that they literally cannot speak to each other and have to piece together what's happening with guesses and cryptic notes. When Michael runs off after a pretty girl on the boardwalk, they stumble into more danger than either of them had experienced before... but it just might be the chance they're looking for to break free from their chains. Or, during the day, Sam is a hawk. During the night, Michael is a wolf. If they don't find some way of talking, they will never be free. This AU is inspired by the movie Ladyhawke, but you do not have to have seen the movie, I'm just kind of stealing the curse a little bit.
