Fics like Ready, Set, Ghost

The Emersons needed a new start. A place to put their ghosts to rest and move on with their lives. It made sense, Michael knew that. Leave the ghosts in the dust of the Arizona desert and start somewhere new. It was still hard, especially for Sam, and Michael had promises of his own he needed to keep. Everything changed so fast, it was hard to keep track. When a beautiful girl on the boardwalk and her musician friends seem to be able to really hear him, Michael starts to wonder what moving forward and belonging really means. I'm sure someone has done this concept before, and probably better, but I'm gonna take a crack at it anyway. I will update the tags as I go but I'm kind of trying something here so bear with me.
