Fics like The Worthy Bear it Away

In this Thor AU, Asgardian tradition demands that the second son bear punishments for the eldest as a way to teach the future King responsibility. Loki is essentially Thor’s Whipping Boy, (inspired by the un-glamorous role of the Royal Whipping Boy from The Prince and the Pauper.) Any pair of brothers would tire of such an arrangement, especially after a thousand years of it. On the day when he is to be crowned King, Thor is no closer to learning responsibility and Loki is close to his breaking point. But the last straw comes when their Father banishes him to Midgard until Thor can lift Mjolnir again. Can Loki survive Earth until that day comes?
