Fics like The Blood Mage

Only a mage driven to insanity burns their own tissues for seidr. Loki had far too much experience to know that madness is just one desperate act away. Stripped of the body he'd always known, Loki is bound in his true form, that of a frost giant runt barely on the cusp of adolescence. Yet no one knows what lies under the false image of the disgraced second Prince of Asgard, certainly not Thor. Loki would not survive the truth of his lineage being uncovered, but Odin still has use of his stolen relic. However – weak from months in Asgard's dungeon after his near-death on Svartalfheim and Thanos' ministrations – Loki is stolen from Asgard's dungeons by Thor. As the only known wielder of two Infinity Stones, the Avengers hope to use Loki to uncover the reason behind their appearance on Earth. Especially in light of the Mind Stone taken form as their newest ally: the Vision. But they are not the only ones who have use of a bound child mage. The Norns have never had much mercy for Loki.
