Fics like a bride for a crown

“This is the one place I actually wanted to be, when I found out where they were taking me.” Goro knows what he means. He still makes a show of looking around the admittedly snug-for-a-prince wardrobe. “In a closet?” “Alone with you.” Fucking hell, Goro thinks, heart skipping a beat. Shido was actually right about how much Amamiya still carried a torch for him? This is horrible. For Amamiya, that is. For Goro’s plans, it will work perfectly. Ren Amamiya, the exiled prince, is returned to the royal palace, given back the title of his birthright and offered the hand of the current prince in a marriage meant to mend all the hurts of the past. Goro Akechi is not above marrying his old flame, if it will finally get him the crown. Amamiya’s willingness is quite suspicious though… Was he really returned, or did he want to come? And more importantly: why? The answer is, naturally, both quite simpler and a lot more complex than one would think.
