Fics like when i'm with you, it's alright

"'That's the biggest jump you've made all day!' Ahlaam exclaims, still holding her tightly. 'Soon, you won't even need to be able to see where you're going to get there!' She can't help the smile that grows on her own face, too. 'Thank you for all your help today, Ahlaam. I really feel like I've improved.' 'You really have!' Ahlaam finally releases her, gesturing towards the other side of the roof. 'Like I told you, jumping between the roofs of Paradise is how I practiced my Movement, too. Wouldn't have crossed my threshold without it.' She giggles to herself. 'My parents were so mad. But I didn't fall, or break anything, so I don't know what they were so upset about.' 'Ahlaam—' 'Shh, shh! None of that now. Come here!' Ahlaam waves her over, and despite the distinct feeling in her stomach that she's doing something she shouldn't be— a feeling she's had since Ahlaam proposed this idea and talked her into it— she follows after. The sight she sees makes her gasp." Fortnight Day 7: Roof
