Fics like now the weightlessness recedes

“And I couldn't just sit there and let it happen again, Lestat, I couldn’t watch her die- Couldn’t watch him hurt you-” “Louis-” “Wasn’t even worried about me. Woulda let him throw his psychotic tantrum and never said shit. All I could think about was you, where your fuckin’ head was. How we found our way back again just to lose it all over-” “Louis. Mon cher.” Louis’ eyes slipped closed, the pleasure of hearing those words for the first time in nearly a century seeping calm into him like nothing else could. “It’s alright. I’m here. We are here.” ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Louis is shaken in the aftermath of the butcher shop. There are wounds even blood cannot heal. Fortunately, Lestat has never loved Louis by halves.
