Fics like the sun is only half as bright as your light

Simon’s fucking stupid. He’s always been self-deprecating, but right now he really wants to brain himself on a concrete wall. Why’d he put on the cardigan? Why’d he put on the goddamn cardigan? Because it smells too good, obviously. Noxiously sweet, like his nose is pressed to Grace’s jugular vein. Temptation, deep and dark as sin, flits through his lungs. Elongated canines strain against Simon’s gums. His tongue taps one and it’s sharp as a blade. Shit. He’s playing a dangerous game, testing his willpower like this. -------- Or, where Grace and Simon live a peaceful life on Erid now. Except, they're hopelessly in love with each other, blind to that fact, and...Simon's a vampire.
