Fics like that planet, emerald and sapphire | this body, shiny and new

Simon's last prayers are answered. Unfortunately, the god answering his prayers has little concern for his mental wellbeing. The angel who saves him is okay, though. AKA your average simon-crashlands-on-Erid fic but with a fairly aquatic twist! Very gorey, I actually gagged while writing it which I think speaks to the tone of at least the first chapter. I'll be messing around a lot with the themes of humanity and the effects of being connected to something that hurt you. Will probably update semi-regularly if I don't get burnt out, but this shit has been plaguing my brain for a good while now so maybe we'll get somewhere who knows!!! Title from Stones by the Narcissist Cookbook! If this makes even one person listen to this song I'll be happy, it's SO phm-coded (https://jammechanics.bandcamp.com/album/s4e7-chat-i-got-him)
