Fics like Trust Exercise

Apologizing is scary. Receiving forgiveness is even scarier. ✧ ✧ ✧ Pomni groans in frustration, finally hitting her breaking point. "UGH! Jax, I'm serious!" The snarky attitude drops once more, unable to contain the mess of conflicting energies that's bursting through his seams. He shouts, voice straining, "Yeah, well so am I!" "Then will you just suck it up and take my forgiveness?!" "I CAN'T!" The room is too small for it to echo. She swears she hears the reverb of his defenses shattering anyway. What a mess… A swell of sympathy grabs cloyingly at her digital heart. Fool, her rational inner voice taunts. Unfortunately for her, it's not strong enough to sway her. She has to help him somehow. "...How about I do it for you?" Jax looks up at her, confused. "Huh? Do what?" "Make you take it."
