Fics like Someday I'll Sail Across The Seas To You

Somewhere, somehow, there’s now an endless sea where tea doesn’t run, and a stretch of woods without gang violence, and the stars outshine even the most powerful firearms. Or, Carlos wakes up after dying, realizes a few things about the nature of afterlife and souls and automatons, and goes to find Cheeky and Maureen for help. There's conversations to be had, between a rat spy with nothing to spy on, a no longer vengeful dancer, and a failed elderly gangster without a gang. Also they steal. A lot.
