Fics like Lovebirds reuniting after the storm

Ardeth observed Jonathan's attempt to lighten the mood and noticed the man's nervousness, so he stood up and went over to him. The O'Connells continued preparing for Alex's rescue, and Jonathan grabbed his rifle. He wasn't good at goodbyes, but he wanted to talk to Jonathan before fighting Anubis' army. Bay studied him for a moment before asking, "You any good with that?". Jonathan looked at Ardeth confidently. Yes, it was time for him to show off. "Three times Fox and Hound's grand champion, I'll have you know" Jonathan looked at Ardeth's sword and asked, "You any good with that?". There had been tension between them since the previous night, when Jonathan fell asleep with his head resting on the medjai's shoulder. They began to stare at each other more, to show off their skills.
