Fics like The O'Connell Chronicles

Just short stories about this incredible family. ps: I'm losing my sight (retinitis pigmentosa) and English isn't my native language, so please be patient with me. Now let's go! New chapter: Medjai Camp, 4 days after the battle Rick slowly opened his eyes, feeling very sleepy. The pain from his wounds caused by Imhotep and the Scorpion King had finally decreased, and he watched the tent edge lift slightly in the breeze. Someone moved to his right, and O'Connell turned his head to see his son kneeling there with a worried look. "Are you okay, Dad?" the boy sniffled, and Rick immediately raised his arm and gently touched his son's cheek. "Yeah, don't worry, okay? Dad is strong, buddy" he said gently. Alex nodded and nestled his head against his father's uninjured shoulder, careful not to hurt him, and Rick wrapped his arm around the boy and kissed his forehead.
