Fics like What Survives the Curse

At Ahm Shere, Evelyn O’Connell makes a different choice. She saves Imhotep. Brought back to London under the reluctant protection of the O’Connells, a man who has survived three thousand years of curse, hunger, and grief must learn what it means to remain alive when vengeance is no longer the only thing left to him. But mercy has consequences. Ancient wards are failing. The Medjai are divided. Something older than the Hom-Dai is stirring beneath the sands—and as Imhotep’s lost power begins to return, the people who chose to stand beside him may be forced to decide what survives a curse: the monster, the man, or the choice to become something else. A canon-divergent Mummy AU and rewrite for Mummy 3: about redemption, found family, old wounds, and choosing life.
