Fics like A study in personal responsibility

Shen Wei wakes up after ten thousand years and is decidedly not happy with the state he finds Dixing in. He's angry, he's grieving for what he's lost and he feels responsible for everything that went wrong when he was buried underground. While searching for the stolen hallows, he sees a face he thought he'd never see again *** A canon divergence AU in which Shen Wei is very unhappy with the state of Dixing and with its relations with Haixing after waking up, does a little coup d'etat, and consequently assumes a more political role, which leaves him with no time for pursuing an academic career
