Fics like A Kept Man

"The fire’s going strong in Geno’s firepit, blazing as the young guys continue to chuck whatever they think will produce the biggest reaction on top. Geno’s already banned Rutger from even going near it after he dug out the gas can from the shed and tried to pour some on, but they’re having fun and that’s all that matters." *** After a shocking win in the Stanley Cup Finals against the incumbent Colorado Avalance, Sid retires. Geno and Tanger are retiring as well, his contract is up, and Sid decides that he's done it, he's given everything there is to give to hockey; from now on, he'll teach under 10s in Halifax and fish for the rest of his life. Macklin Celebrini has other ideas when he turns up on Sid's doorstep the night he returns home to Pittsburgh.
