Fics like In the End, It's Him and I

Will knows Mack isn’t trying to hurt him. But somewhere between rookie year, late-night hotel rooms, and becoming inseparable in San Jose, their “casual” thing stopped feeling casual to Will a long time ago. Mack still kisses girls at parties after spending the entire day begging Will to come over. Still looks at him like he’s the center of his universe without realizing what that does to him. Back in Boston for Marathon Monday, old friendships resurface, old feelings crack open, and Will starts realizing how much of himself he’s quietly handed over to one person. Or: Will Smith is disastrously in love with Macklin Celebrini, Ryan Leonard wants his best friend/past hookup back, and it’s a giant mess of feelings all around.
