Fics like Dragons’s Nest

Turning into a dragon looks cool on paper. But no one ever talks about the side effects. While Lloyd struggles with new senses, Jay recovers his memories, Kai has to confront his trauma from the Lands of Monster, Nya turns into a sneaky little menace and Zane worries about everyone. Cole compiles all of it over the weeks. Why are Kai and Nya hissing at each other like feral cats? Why is Jay slow-blinking at him and why is Zane growling at him? And wait— is Lloyd purring?? In the end, they’re not really cats. They are legendary ninjas who have saved Ninjago and the merged realms more times than anyone can count. They can totally handle this. Spoiler: They really can’t. ______ Or maybe I’ve been a little too inspired by the latest Ninjago season and this idea rotted in a messy corner of my brain and spread like a weed :’) For Cole fans, don’t worry! There will be plenty of angst for our favourite master of earth too! (Am I writing this instead of studying for my very important exams? Yes :’)) Daily updates!
