It may sound insane, but he’d seen a post online about confessing your feelings to someone on April Fool’s Day so that if it went badly, it could just be played out as a prank. Chris had shook his head and muttered something Eddie couldn’t quite make out when he’d told him his plan on the way to school (Eddie didn’t want him taking the bus on April Fool’s Day, to which Chris had rolled his eyes at but got in the car nonetheless), but he’d still wished him luck, so that was something. The plan was perfect. Or, Eddie confesses his love to Buck on April Fool's Day, what could go wrong?
