Fics like make me brave

Christopher looks at Buck with the biggest puppy dog eyes he’s seen from the teen in years, and it breaks open something inside of Buck that has him blurting out his honest feelings. “No! I would absolutely want to marry Eddie! He’s it for me. I can’t imagine anybody else being in my life like he is,” A soft smile grows on Buck’s face at the very idea of spending the rest of his entire life with Eddie. All of the panic and worry washes away at the thought, in fact. It feels so right. But he still has to ask. “I just…marriage? Don’t you think that’s rushing things?” “Dad has always been an all in or all out kind of guy. If you leave room for him to doubt how serious you are, you risk losing him forever!” All Buck wanted to do was ask Eddie out on a date, but now he has it in his mind to propose thanks to Christopher. Buck feels like a coward. Eddie makes him brave.
